Our Cinematheque: “My Wish” Screening and Artist Talk
November 19 @ 10:00 am
Digital Artist and educator Rebecca Pyun uses animation, immersive media, and ethical storytelling to preserve marginalized histories. Her six-minute animated documentary I Wish honors Kim Hak-soon, the first Korean “comfort woman” to publicly testify about her experiences, amplifying her courageous voice and the ongoing call for remembrance, justice, and reparations.
Join us in the new Immersive Studio of the Jeanne Tannenbaum Center for Creative Practice to experience this powerful documentary with the filmmaker.
