DESCRIPTION:Join us for a unique film screening & live hip hop performance!\n\n\n\nShaolin Jazz will perform a special CAN I KICK IT? presentation on Wednesday\, April 1st at the Elliott University Center Auditorium. \n\n\n\nThey will screen the sci-fi action classic THE MATRIX\, but with the added twist of a live music soundtrack by DJ 2-Tone Jones.  \n\n\n\nTHE MATRIX (The Wachowskis\, 1999) is a seminal film that combines innovative martial arts choreography\, groundbreaking CGI effects\, and a philosophical debate about identity and purpose within an AI dominated dystopia.  \n\n\n\nPlease attend and bring guests!  \n\n\n\nFREE EVENTOPEN TO THE PUBLICDOORS @ 6:00 PMMOVIE @ 6:30 PM \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis event is presented by UNCG Human Rights Film Festival and sponsored by Media Studies\, Lloyd International Honors College\, Peace & Conflict Studies\, Political Science\, and Women’s\, Gender\, & Sexuality Studies.  \n\n\n\nOther sponsors include Antenna Releasing and Someone’s Favorite Productions.
